Meet the Team
Dr. Ingar graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been actively working in the field for over 6 years! He also worked alongside Orthopaedic Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, and Emergency Room Physicians at North York General Hospital for 7 years. Dr. Ingar implements an evidence-informed approach to health care. With the use of a combination of techniques, Dr. Ingar will help you become your best self! Dr. Ingar also provides shockwave therapy when appropriate.

Sahista graduated with a bachelor of physiotherapy from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (India) in 2017 and practised for brief period in an acute care hospital. She worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) for 3 years in different clinics and long term care facilities across the GTA. She is currently registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario and has been actively practising. Sahista provides evidence and education-based treatment plans to her clients in order to recover them with ease.

Golam is a registered massage therapist with The College of Massage Therapist of Ontario. He’s been actively working for many years.
By using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body, he is able to relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients.

Dr. Mireille is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is passionate about providing evidence-based individualized care to help her patients get to the root cause of their concerns. Mireille uses a number of modalities to treat her patients including: – Dietary and lifestyle modification, acupuncture, supplements, botanical medicine, and hydrotherapy. Conditions that she commonly treats with Naturopathic Medicine are pain, fatigue, stress, insomnia, digestive issues, skin concerns, weight gain, high blood pressure & cholesterol.

Nimtaz graduated with a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Medix College and have been working as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2012. She enjoys the profession and performs each treatment to meet her clients needs to help them towards achieving their healthcare goals by improving flexibility and circulation through a variety of treatments. She has treated clients with different conditions such as sports related injuries, chronic conditions or specifics like headache, tendonitis, sprains, and strains. Her massage service is offered to men, women and children of all ages, also to individuals in all occupations, be it business executive, athletes, or front line workers.

Kristin graduated with a bachelor of Child and Youth Care from Ryerson University. She is currently registered with The Ontario College of Psychotherapists and has been actively working many years. Kristin uses a variety of different methods to ensure patient well-being using psychotherapeutic processes! Using a combination of evidence-based interventions and traditional psychotherapy principles she is able to support change and growth for her patients in a safe and confidential environment!

Dr. Katie is a Chiropractor and Registered Massage Therapist. She provides a combination of hands-on techniques including relaxation/deep tissue massage, joint mobilization/manipulation techniques as well as therapeutic exercises. She also incorporates breathwork to facilitate relaxation while treating joint, muscle and nerve pain. Her favorite ways to stay active throughout the year is hiking, swimming, paddle-boarding, rock climbing and gardening.

Mark Kwok Lai Chan
Mark is a registered chiropodist in Ontario, and a registered podiatrist in Saskatchewan, UK, and Hong Kong. He is an assistant professor at the Michener Institute. His clinical focus includes general foot care including nail care, callus, corns, plantar warts, biomechanics assessments and custom orthotics, soft tissue surgeries, injections, diabetic foot care and ulcers. As a passionate chiropodist/podiatrist. He enjoys working in multidisciplinary clinics in order to communicate with different professionals.

Zi Juan Yang is registered with the college of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has worked in the spa setting performing body treatment for over fifteen years. She uses a wide variety of massage treatment techniques to reduce pain, improve health and boost circulation for her clients. She connects well with people of all backgrounds and ages. She takes time to listen to her clients and provide treatments in accordance with their preferences and needs. She looks forward to meeting you and providing safe and effective treatment.

Kirthika holds a Masters in Social Work from Carleton University, and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has extensively supported individuals with concerns such as: anxiety, trauma, depression, loss, suicidality, relationship/family issues, emotional/physical abuse, parenting challenges, cultural-identity struggles, and emotion regulation difficulties. Kirthika approaches her therapeutic care with clients by using a trauma-informed and collaborative lens. She seeks to build a strong therapeutic relationship with individuals, by empathically validating their experiences and helping them feel empowered. She incorporates researched interventions in her clinical practice, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness. Kirthika is passionate about helping individuals heal from their emotional wounds and create transformational changes in their lives, by walking alongside them on their journey.
Acupuncturist/Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Weidong(Wendy) Liu is registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, she completed her Ph.D. at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. She has extensive knowledge to treat specific conditions, such as golfer’s elbow, strains and sprains to more serious systemic diseases, She treats a vast number of painful conditions such as sciatic pain, back pain, headache, migraine, etc. she combines acupuncture / herbal remedies /massage therapy to treat a very wide range of conditions from gastro-intestinal, chronic fatigue syndromes, urinary condition to psychological problems, such as heart burn, constipation, IBS, sore throat, allergy, urinary incontinence, abnormal menstruation body energy management, weight lost, anxiety, depression, insomnia, abnormal menstruation and infertility etc.

Joy Huynh graduated with a Masters of Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Western Ontario and is currently registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She offers personalized nutrition advice and evidence-based scientific research to help you reach your health goals. Her mission is to guide you in developing sustainable habits and assist in finding a strategy that works for you. She believes that all foods fit and uses a non-judgmental and client-centered approach to empower you in finding a balance in your choices Her passions include but are not limited to weight management, blood sugar management, heart health, gut health, blood sugar management and food psychology.

Rakesh Patel is an internationally educated physiotherapist. He completed his bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Charotar University of Science and Technology in 2018. He moved to Toronto, Ontario to further his education and professional career. He completed his diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College. He has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a long-term care home in Oshawa, Ontario for over a year. Currently, he is a Resident Physiotherapist and registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He provides evidence-based physiotherapy treatment with a client centered approach. His hobbies include traveling, going on adventures and playing outdoor sports like cricket, volleyball, and basketball.

Elif holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in a trauma-informed, self-reflective and person-centered philosophy, where she prioritizes creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for her clients to collaboratively explore their mental health concerns. She is proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities such as TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), NT (Narrative Therapy), and mindfulness-based modalities which enhance the therapeutic process and cater to each individual’s unique needs. Through a combination of these approaches, she strives to empower individuals on their path to improved mental well-being and a fulfilling life. With extensive experience, she has been a source of support to individuals dealing with various health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns. Deepa is a Social Worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and Alberta College of Social Workers. She uses a Culturally Sensitive Trauma-Informed Care Approach and is experienced in delivering in-person or virtual services within a helping relationship, including comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, counselling, therapy, crisis intervention, social support, case management and referral services. She focuses on the person within their environment, improving health and social well-being using the social determinants of health framework when delivering services.
